COUNTER INDICATIONS
Rheumatoid diseases.
SURGERY (as out-patient possible)
Through buccal cavity or other remote access sites, the pocket to receive the implant is developed, always beneath the facial soft tissue, often benearh the periost.
Operation time
1-2 hours.
Anesthesia
usually local anesthesia, sometimes with twilight
premedication.
Scars
hidden.
POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS, UNDESIRABLE RESULTS
Hematoma.
Infection.
Implant migration.
POSTOPERATIVE CARE
Prophylactic antibiotics.
Suture removal after 1 week.
Resume work after 1-2 weeks.
